The streets are not a safe place at night so why are parents letting them go out alone?The younger kids could go out but get scared when something is happening to them like a stranger asking them to come with them.Parents need to look after them especially on the roads.So I recomend some protection at night like more police officers ready for action or something kids can communicat with their parents.STREETS,THEY NEED TO BE SAFER!!!!!!

Save our Peppermint centre at Valleypark! Our club is in danger of closing because money might stop coming next year. We want to start a petition and a campaign to keep the Peppermint centre open. The Peppermint kids come here 4 times a week from 4 to 6pm.We all live on the estate at Valleypark and it is the only place we can go to play, learn and have fun! Croydon express have been coming to our club to show us how we can have our say online......If the Peppermint centre was no longer herewe would have nothing to do and would be bored and get into trouble with our neighbours!

how about a cooking centre.you cook with professionals and other kids.after cooking it will probabily the best part EATING.it will be the experience of a life time.

please croydon can you put in a candy shop in maxwell close because i live here and the nearest shop is asda and most people are young aournd here and even staff from the peppermint might need to get milk from the shop for their tea during thier work.even me cant ressist some sweets.

do you think that there are enough fund raisers that arn't walks? personally I think that there should be more. However half of the problem is that it is hard to think of fund raisers that all people are capable to take part in. in any case I am sure that there are still many possible ones that have not been suggested. YET! I would like to here your views on which ones could work and I am sure that Iam not the only person who would. I was also wondering what charities that you would give the procedings to if it were to happen.

compared to the past the amount in the past the amount of sport in schools is very low.can you think of any low-cost ways of increasing the amount of sport in schools.

do you think that there should be this amount of money put into football or do you think that the money could be invested in better things such as the economy. if you think that it should definatly be kept in football why not put it into the grass roots.share your veiws here.

I get so bored after school. My mum moans i play on the computer alot and we get told we are not active enough! i cant play in the park because my mum thinks its dangerous but Brownies cost too much money. Are there free clubs that i can go to. i want to do fun things! go on outings and see things! My mum takes me nowhere!!!

It would be nice to have a ice skating rink in Croydon so young people can have something to do in there spare time.

do we have enough safe parks in Croydon for families and young children to play and enjoy outside play? Some of the parks in Croydon are occupied by homeless drunks or bigger kids doing drugs and drinking alcohol or for groups of teenagers to hang out....they cant be moved on by community police due to dispersal constraints....bring back the park wardens to monitor park activity and make them safer for all to enjoy!

I think there should be a fun swimming palace where kids can have fun, whilst keeping fit. Somewhere like water palace, with lots and lots of slides.
